Some of their stories:

Bloom's original owner had a terminal illness and was going to pass away.  They were worried about her.  He asked me to take the cat, so here she is. :).  Bloom was mildly feral but, has grown into a loving and ornary cat.  She had to be spayed and does demand only crystal or "Pretty Litter". 😂😂

Bud and his son Disco were found starving in an area NW of us about an hour...and for sale.  Yes!  They had to be purchased.  However, they were purchased to save them from a horrible fate of starvation and malnutrition.  He also had many flies eating through the flesh on his back.  The wounds have healed, but It took months to get Bud up to a proper weight while trying many different supplements.  I finally found one that added lbs onto him by the week.  It was Flax seed Powder.  Bud receives Senior Feed and a Flax seed supplement.  His teeth were also floated to aide in weight gain.

Orzo was rescued from the Maricopa Animal Shelter in Phoenix in October 2026.  He is a big Scooby Doo attitude dog.  He is lanky and clumsy.  He was wormed the day I picked him up and is still passing worms.  He is pretty skinny, but he is very intelligent and sweet.  He is acclimating well to our big animal family. 💕💕

Tootsie was a resuce from the Holbrook Aniaml Control in Holbrook AZ.   The dog warden found her left in an apartment starving to death.   We have a great dog warden in Holbrook.  I appreciate all he does for the community.   Tootsie is a big lover.  It took about 6 months for her to detraumatize, but now is living her best life.  She is a lover.
